Eat Chat Parent

Talk early, and talk often!

That is one of the goals of Eat Chat Parent: encouraging parents to talk with their kids about tough topics. Prevention experts believe that in order conquer risk taking behavior, the best way is to communicate about the topic at least three to four years PRIOR to the behavior occurring.

Eat Chat Parent introduces the topic to parents and youth so that home conversations will go more smoothly. Vaping, technology, marijuana, anxiety and depression – we’ve got you covered.

Another main goal is for local parents to know they are not alone. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

One of the best parts of the Eat Chat Parent sessions is that right after the expert presentations, a very honest and open discussion occurs that is thought provoking for everyone in the room.
