Valley Tastings: Food for Youth 2009

The Eagle River Youth Coalition staff and board of directors would like to thank everyone who came out to support the ERYC and its important work to make youth a community priority. We were overwhelmed with the support given for its third annual event, "Valley Tastings: Food for Youth" that took place on September 24th at Vail Christian High School in Edwards.

The Eagle River Youth Coalition would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to Vail Christian High School for allowing us to host our event at such a beautiful venue and especially to all of the participating restaurants including: Batter Cupcake, dish!, Columbine Bakery, The French Press, Main Street Grill, Marko's, Ristorante Ti Amo, SweetKate, Ticino and Vin 48. We would like to thank them not only for the outstanding food they provided but also their gift to the community.

Also, we would like to recognize these organizations and individuals for their generous donations: The Beaver Creek Lodge, Hot Yoga Vail Valley, The Bookworm, Zacca Za, Local Joe's Pizza, KZYR, Los Amigos, City Market, and Ellen Galbraith of High Country Solutions.

Finally, we would like to thank our members for their support. The ERYC's mission is to collaborate with Eagle River youth-serving organizations to assess prevention needs and build capacity; and implement strategic plans, programs and policies around the issues facing young people. It would not be possible for us to succeed in this endeavor without the support of the entire community.
