Collaboration

Eagle County Youth Collaborative

The Eagle County Youth Collaborative (ECYC) is a partnership of Eagle County youth serving organizations who are members of The Eagle River Youth Coalition. The purpose of ECYC is to address the academic achievement gap of students enrolled in Eagle County schools. ECYC will further foster positive youth development in order for Eagle County youth to become successful adults.

ECYC is intended to:
  • Leverage our collective resources for the common good of all partners, both financially and through shared information.
  • Share program impact data to demonstrate the impact of nonprofit organizations in serving the community.
  • Develop a common assessment tool that measures the collective impact of member organizations.
  • Explore common space opportunities for program and administrative functions.
  • Share best practices.

-Andrew Coonan, Food Bank of the Rockies

“It’s been easy to make connections and to collaborate with other organizations here in the Eagle County because everyone is open and honest about wanting to work with other organizations! The ERYC networking meetings really help to make this happen.”

“The Literacy Project Staff looks forward to networking meetings because they bring together a group of enthusiastic people who can build upon each other’s energy and help fuel new initiatives. The ERYC is an important asset to our community as it strengthens and empowers programs for local youth.”
